The Final Day, Day Seven of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar

Arrived on October 11 - 28, 2011

The end of the Mayan Calendar is just around the corner. The Mayan Calendar is ending on October 28, 2011 per Carl Calleman, the Swedish scientist who has dedicated the second half of his life to researching and sharing the calendar with people around the world.

Astrologer, Barbara Hand Clow at www.handclow2012.com has also been following this same version of the Mayan Calendar, and she writes, "The beginning of the Universal Underworld on March 9, 2011 and this Fall Equinox (on September 23) occurs shortly before the completion of the Universal on October 28, 2011. Therefore this short period is the richest and most conscious evolutionary phase we have ever experienced as humans. As most of you already know, 2011 is the apex of time acceleration. Evolution has progressed twenty times faster during the Galactic Underworld (1999 - 2011), and with only weeks remaining, we are reflecting upon 16.4 billion years of growth in our universe."

Right now, we are in the midst of the Final Night, Night Six, which began on September 23, the first day of autumn, and runs through October 10, 2011. This Final Night of the Mayan calendar is our last chance to really focus on this shift into Unity Consciousness. Night Six is the time when we are being called to do our deepest inner work. This could be the most important time for prayer, contemplation or meditation. The nights are known as more inward times, and this is our last chance to go inward, and prepare for the polarity shift to Unity Consciousness that the Ninth wave is bringing.

As Calleman has written, "I feel this is really the last chance of humanity and the day of reckoning is here. I feel that a commitment to the polarity shift to unity consciousness is not only a passport to the new world being born, but also the only hope for the world to survive…The Ninth wave indeed brings a field change on the cosmic level that we may become part of, but it will not happen without a deep and serious commitment from the heart of our souls."

In order to create this shift to the Final Day, Day Seven, of the Mayan Calendar, we need to do the inner work to bring about the outer manifestations. Day Seven which begins on October 11, and ends on October 28, 2011 can be a time of global ceremonies to celebrate the birth of the "new" world.

This time period may look like chaos at times, but there is a divine will behind everything that is happening right now. The dawn of this "new" world is being birthed, and it will be a world that can only survive in truth, love, peace, harmony, and tolerance and acceptance for all beings on the planet. We are evolving from a world of separateness into Oneness – that is Unity Consciousness.

As Astrologer, Stephanie Austin of www.ecoastrology.com has written, "Just as December 31 marks the end of one year, the end of the Mayan Calendar does not signify the end of the world, but rather the completion of one grand cycle and the beginning of another a collective ascension from the illusion of separation into the truth of our Oneness. In order to shift from duality to unity, all that has been held in the dark must be brought to light."

As we move into the new year of 2012, there will be more shifts including astrological alignments as we adapt to this higher level of consciousness on the planet. We are only at the beginning of a whole new way of being on Planet Earth.

Cosmic Convergence September 23 – 26, 2011

The end of the Mayan Calendar is fast approaching which means the potential end of the world as we know it. I don't see it as a physical end of the Earth, but more of a potential to shift into a higher level of awareness on the planet. Per Carl Calleman, the Swedish scientist who has spent many years researching this calendar, we will be moving into the final night, Night Six, of the Mayan Calendar on the first day of Autumn, September 23. He sees the beginning of this final night from September 23 - 26, 2011 as the Cosmic Convergence, and our last chance to focus on our intention for Unity Consciousness for all of us on planet Earth.

Calleman writes, "I feel this is really the last chance of humanity and the day of reckoning is here. I feel that a commitment to the polarity shift to unity consciousness is not only a passport to the new world being born, but also the only hope for the world to survive…The Ninth wave indeed brings a field change on the cosmic level that we may become part of, but it will not happen without a deep and serious commitment from the heart of our souls."

What can each one of us do? Take the time at the beginning of this Night Six to really focus on a new way of being through Unity Consciousness. It is about coming to the realization that we are all one people on this planet, Earth with one future in this universe. As part of this shift, people are being asked to make two declarations:

(1) That we will consistently allow our lives to be guided by divine guidance rather than our egos.
(2) That we surrender our right to respond to negativity in others with negativity, and respond with violence to the violence in others.

The beginning of this Night Six can be honored with a solitary practice of meditation, prayer and contemplation; or within small or large groups where there is time for people to go inward, and focus on this intention for Unity Consciousness. Whatever you may decide to do, now is the time to step forward, and as Gandhi said, "Be the Change you want to see in the World."

This Final Night will last from September 23 - October 10, 2011; and then we will move into the Final Day, Day Seven, of the Mayan Calendar beginning on October 11, and completing on October 28, 2011. May this Final Day be a time of celebration as we prepare to move into the "New" world that we have all co-created with our highest intentions for the planet, and all of its inhabitants.

Day Six in the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar begins on Sept. 5
Followed by Night Six on Sept. 23, the Cosmic Convergence

As we approach the end of the Mayan Calendar, we are entering a crucial time period where each one of us needs to take part in manifesting this shift into the "new" world.

Right now, we are in the midst of Night Five, a time known for Break-Downs, and destruction, and so it has been with the financial markets around the world, and the changing political structure in the Middle East, and in Africa. Following Night Five, Day Six is usually a shift known in the growth cycle as a time of "flowering." The seeds planted at the beginning of the Ninth Wave in March, 2011 are finally beginning to blossom. These new flowers of growing consciousness still need nurturing and care to insure their growth into the future. Day Six lasts 18 "earth" days from September 4 through September 22, 2011 completing the summer season in the Northern Hemisphere.

With the first day of autumn, we enter the next time period known as Night Six on September 23 which lasts through October 10, 2011 - the last night in the Mayan Calendar per Carl Calleman. He has written, "I feel that there is one shift point that deserves our full attention, and this is the beginning of the sixth night. The reason is that the beginning of the sixth night on September 23, 2011, and its following few days, means a convergence of an energy shift in the Mayan Calendar, and the passage of the comet, Elenin between the earth and the sun."

Calleman feels that the timing of the arrival of this comet, Elenin, with the ending of the Mayan Calendar could be another sign that in this time period of the Universal Underworld that we will finally become citizens of the universe, a consciousness shift that could lead to more universal encounters. In this final night leading into the final day, Day Seven, we are making a polarity shift to unity consciousness.

What can we personally do to make this shift? Night Six could be the time when we are called to do our deepest inner work. This could be the most important time for prayer, contemplation or meditation. The nights are known as more inward times, and this is our last chance to go inward, and prepare for the polarity shift to unity consciousness that the Ninth wave is bringing.

The Cosmic Convergence from September 23 - 26, 2011 is the time to really focus on our intention to manifest unity consciousness. It's a time for connecting with the divine, and for deep soul searching. It is about each one of us taking responsibility for this transformation to unity consciousness, and doing our part to be the change that we want to see in the world.

Day Five of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar begins on July 31st - a Day known for the Biggest

Breakthroughs followed by Night Five, a time known for the Biggest Break-downs

The number Five has always been known in numerology as holding the energy of excitement and change. The essence of the number Five is about feeling free. It has been described as energetic, impulsive, active and self-emancipating. All good words to describe the time period that we are now moving into with one of the biggest "Days" known in the Mayan Calendar as Day Five, a day which has often brought big Breakthroughs in Consciousness.

Day Five begins on July 31st through August 17, 2011, and in the growth cycle is known as the time of "budding" where we begin to see the first sign of a flower that is growing - the awakening of Unity Consciousness in the world.

In past waves of the Mayan Calendar, there have been huge events that have happened on "Day" Five including the birth of Christianity and Judaism in the Middle East, and Buddhism in the Far East in the sixth wave; the global fall of autocratic empires, and the birth of more democratic nations in the seventh wave; and in the eighth wave, there was a breakthrough in stem cell research, the IPhone by Apple debuted changing the cell phone industry, and the mortgage crisis began.

This Day Five could be a different experience with the Break-through coming to show us that we can no longer continue to live in a world where there is material dominance for a select few, and where many still live under the rule of dictatorships. There has to be a shift to bring in Unity Consciousness for all.

Mayan Calendar expert, Carl Calleman believes that Day Five could be the beginning of a huge shift in the global economy. He has written, "The economic system of the world is however probably the greatest obstacle to the development of unity consciousness that exists on our planet. I think it can even be said that a collapse of the world's financial structure is a pre-requisite for us to be able to craft relationships of oneness between ourselves. For this reason it is not unlikely that such a collapse would occur in a day and then especially in the fifth day, which is the particular day that in the waves brings the breakthrough energy to the new frame of consciousness."

What could this mean for each one of us? I believe that it means we each have to take a look at our own personal finances, and how we manage our money, and decide for ourselves what feels like the right next step. Many people in my community are involved in the bartering and trading of services, and that is one way to do business without the exchange of cash. Some other ideas could include more job-sharing, and more community housing where people share in the work and the running of their home and community. It certainly is about looking for new ways of co-creating together in your own life, and within communities.

The next shift will come on August 18, and last through September 4, 2011 when we move into Night Five of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar which has been known as a time of Break-downs, and destruction in past waves. The last "Night" Five was back in the fall of 2008 when we had the financial down-turn along with the mortgage crisis. It would seem that if there is another economic downturn that it could come during this time period, or even earlier. It is certainly known as one of the darkest times in the Mayan Calendar. With the acceleration of time, it will certainly be a shorter length of time, only now lasting 18 Earth days where in the distant past these shifts lasted millions of years. Whatever we will be going through will move through rather quickly, but it will be the aftermath that will be challenging for many people around the world.

As Calleman writes, "We may also realize that if this monetary system collapses we would for the first time be fully sovereign souls and totally responsible for what we creat... The consequence would be that we all become fully responsible for the course of events not only regarding what we do as individuals, but also as a collective. For those taking such a path such a responsible course of action will flow from unity consciousness with the divine and all of its manifestations of life."

Personally, I feel like it is time to get your house in order in all senses of that word from the material to the spiritual. It's time to clear the clutter, and let go of what no longer serves you in all areas of your life. It feels like it's best to travel as light as you can through these times of great change. We are going through a huge ending on the planet, and the "New" world is being co-created right now, and the choice is up to each one of us what we want to create in our lives, and for the planet.

Day Four of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar began on June 25

The mid-point of the final wave is coming up on July 3 - 4 ~ July, 2011

This summer, we are reaching the mid-point of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar on July 3 - 4 with the calendar ending on October 28, 2011. Per Carl Calleman, Mayan Calendar expert, the mid-point is an important time to commemorate the calendar, and how far along we are in the process of moving towards co-creating Unity Consciousness.

Day Four of the Ninth Wave began on June 25, and will run through July 12th. In the growth cycle, this is a time for "leaf formation" which means that we are beginning to see the first signs of growth on our planting of Unity Consciousness. In the world, there are multiple planet changes happening, and many political uprisings in Greece as well as the Middle East. Many of these changes are reactions to what people are feeling on the planet. As the energy moves in for Unity Consciousness, there will be breakdowns in institutions that are not in alignment with this higher level of consciousness.

In the past month, I have been reading more insights about 2012, and the end of the Mayan Calendar from different experts including scientists, philosophers, and Mayan elders. In these readings, the people may use different terms, and ways of describing what is happening on the planet, but I have also seen a common thread through most of them. They all speak of a time of huge global changes including climate changes, political uprisings as well as economic fluctuations. We are entering a time of chaos and breakdown which has become necessary in order for us to move into a new way of being on planet, Earth. We can't continue on the same path of material dominance and environmental destruction, as well living on a planet where some people live with freedom, and others live with dictatorships. We are faced with a huge ending in order to have a re-birth on this planet.

Many people speak of the date of December 21, 2012 as a key date in this process of a rebirth. At that time, the Sun for the first time in 26,000 years will be in alignment with the Galactic center of our Milky Way. Some observers believe that this alignment will open up a channel of energy to flow through the Earth, cleansing it, and raising all to a higher level of vibration. They all seem to agree that the changes have already begun to prepare us for this shift, and that the changes are accelerating as we move closer to that date.

In his scientific studies of the Mayan Calendar, Calleman determined that the calendar ends on October 28, 2011, but he has also said that the completion date means that the higher consciousness field would be established at that time, but that many people would be continuing to adapt to this new level of consciousness into 2012.

In my coming newsletters, I will write more about these different theories of what 2012 means for the world. As we move into the month of July, Night Four will begin on July 13 through July 30, 2011 and we will enter a more inward time of preparation for one of the biggest "Days" to come with Day 5, a time of big breakthroughs followed by Night Five, a time of breakdown, and destruction of old structures.

As We Move into Day Three - A Time of Sprouting

Night Two of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar had a big "Reaction" ~ June, 2011

Day Three of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar began on May 20 just as we finished the month of Taurus, and moved into the sign of Gemini on May 21st. This Day will run from May 20 - June 6, 2011; and is known in the growth cycle as a time of sprouting as we open to the potential of what we can be as individuals and as a planet. A good exercise for this time period is to meditate on what your higher purpose is for being here at this time on the planet. If you can determine that purpose, then you can begin to sprout and grow in that direction. It's also a good exercise to learn how to tune into your intuition, and to be able to receive that higher guidance. There is a lot of support right now on the planet to help you become more connected to the intuitive insights of your right brain.

The recent Night Two took place from May 2 through May 19 which in past waves of the calendar has been known as a time of Reaction. Most Nights of the calendar are more inward times, and a chance to integrate what has happened in the previous Day of the calendar except for Nights Two and Five which are known for being time periods of Reaction; and with Night Five being known as a time of Destruction where there is some breakdown that needs to happen before we can fully move into this new level of awareness known as Unity Consciousness.

As far as this Night Two, the timing was amazing as word began to leak out that Osama bin Laden had been killed just as the previous Day in the calendar was ending on May 1, 2011. And then in Night Two, the world awoke with a big "Reaction" to this news, not just in our own country, but around the world. The outpouring of emotions, and the need to commemorate once again the lives of the people that were lost around the world to terrorist attacks by al-Qaeda in the past decade including 9/11/2001. Around the world, there was a huge "Reaction" to this news, and a new step in the direction of healing for so many people.

Carl Calleman, one of the leading experts of the Mayan Calendar, has written about the frequency increase taking place with this Ninth wave: "The high frequency of change, and the many cross currents of cosmic energies that are now operating on our planet also affects the personal lives of many, who under the influence of this wave are going through major life changes. Planning your life as if it is going to stay the same in the future is becoming near or totally impossible even in the short term. Staying balanced is challenging when many energies are affecting us and pushing us in different, sometimes conflicting directions. One result of these impulses seems however to be healings and unifications of families."

As we move into the month of June, Night Three will begin on June 7 - June 24, 2011 and will be a time of "being" with all that has happened since March 9th, and a time to consolidate all the information that has come through in Day Three. It can be an exercise in taking what seem to be disassociated parts, and beginning to bring them together in a vision of a new universal consciousness for the planet.

Calleman has also commented on the global economy, and feels that there will be a big change in the old system of materialism, and that a life focused on materialism will no longer be supported by the energies of the universe. Calleman feels that, "The added frequency of the Ninth Wave of Unity Consciousness will simply disrupt in one way or another, any attempt to stabilize the world around the old system of material dominance. That the world will experience a very serious economic situation, much more difficult than in 2008, at some point in the Ninth Wave seems certain."

In past waves, Night Five has been known as a time of Breakdown which also happened in the Eighth Wave when the financial markets went through a big downturn in the fall of 2008. In this Ninth Wave, Night Five takes place between August 18 - September 4, 2011; but a big change in the global economy could happen sooner than that.

Calleman has written, "My own view is however different and I tend to think that a dollar collapse may come to happen in steps during days 3, 4 and 5. Since such a collapse is not destructive from the perspective of Oneness it seems logical to me that it would manifest in a day or a series of days. I instead tend to think that the fifth night may come to carry a temporary return to the old monetary system in some form, which from the perspective of the Earth is what is dangerous. Assuming that we are approaching a collapse of the value of the dollar and the world's monetary system (with the immense distress it would probably mean) it is truly time to think about what this should or could be replaced with."

Many people have been having discussions about what to do if there is such a monetary collapse from moving into a bartering/trading of services commerce within communities; to creating a system of "food" stamps or rationing where people's basic needs could be addressed. In any case, it would seem that communities will become even more important for people to cultivate with their neighbors, their co-workers, and family, and friends. As the Hopi have predicted, "The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!"

Many people around the world are becoming more aware, and there are more events on the internet, and in communities around the world to bring people together to focus on this goal of Unity Consciousness for the planet. Some of the websites below can give you information about these events.

As Calleman has written, "The completion date (October 28, 2011) of the Mayan calendar however only means that the 'final field' of consciousness is then established on our planet. It does seem likely that it will then still take some 'time' after this date until a harmonious world settles, but 'time' will then never again be the same."

The Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar

Continues with Night Two beginning on May 2nd ~ May, 2011

Since the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar began on March 9, 2011, we've already moved through Day One- the planting of the seed of unity consciousness; Night One - a time to integrate the planting of that seed; Day Two - a germination time where we began to see new awareness growing on the planet; and now we move into Night Two - a time of reaction to what began on March 9, 2011. Night Two will begin on May 2, and will last through May 19 followed by Day Three � a time of sprouting in this growth cycle of unity consciousness which begins on May 20, and runs through June 6, 2011.

Since March when the Ninth Wave began, it has been a roller coaster ride of events on this planet from natural disasters to the on-going uprisings in the Middle East. The world as we know it is changing right before our eyes, and this is our chance to be a part of these changes. With each shift in the Mayan Calendar, an opportunity is presented to each one of us to move further on this path towards higher consciousness. Many people are waking up, and realizing how inter-connected we all are on this planet, and how what happens on the opposite side of the world is affecting all of us. This is what unity consciousness is about � a realization that we are here on the planet for more than just material achievement, but to connect with others with a higher purpose for being here right now.

James Redfield, author of The Celestine Prophecy, and more recently, The Twelfth Insight writes, "The (Mayan) Calendar is, without a doubt, a predictive instrument, and has been quite accurate forecasting the evolution of human society and our intellectual and social progress. In fact, its predictions have been very accurate for thousands of years. This accuracy seems even more pronounced concerning our present time, as readers' comments attest. Something, indeed, is happening that we can already feel."

In this time of rapid change, one of the key tools that Calleman, Redfield, and the late Ian Xel Lungold agree on is that our intuition is going to be paramount. We are not going to be able to "think" our way through all these changes. The left brain - our logical, rational mind will not be able to keep up with the amount of change coming in, and that's where the right brain � our intuition and feeling side will need to take over. In each and every moment, we are going to have to trust our intuition to guide us to the next, right step.

Redfield writes about this in his book, The Twelfth Insight: "In the Twelfth Insight book, I argue that what we are feeling is coming upon us in a series of integrations, small shifts in clarity about the matter - in other words, we're getting more connected not just with others but with the rest of ourselves, our higher right brain wisdom which feels like a greater intuitive help in directing our lives."

Other tools that I have found helpful are being able to spend time each day in silence, in nature, and in meditation to stay grounded and centered in the midst of so much change. I have been using the website www.DoAsOne.com daily to tune into my breath, and to be quiet and still. The website has what they call, "Breathing rooms" where you can set your own time, intention, and color to breath in unison with others around the world. I usually spend about 5 - 10 minutes in a room, and I leave feeling energized and relaxed at the same time. It's a great tool because you can fit it into your daily life as a morning meditation practice, or on your lunch hour, or just before you go to bed to feel more calm and relaxed.

Another tool that I have been using is participating in James Redfield's Global Prayer Project twice a month which includes a live prayer, meditation and discussion with James and his wife Salle Merrill Redfield. The event can be accessed on his website at www.celestinevision.com by webcast or teleconference, and is also available after the event if you're not able to make it to the live event. I have listened to the event twice, and left feeling uplifted, hopeful, and re-energized just knowing that other people are also focused on this path of higher consciousness. James and Salle both lead meditations in the hour-long event, and discuss where we are in the Mayan Calendar, and in relationship to what is happening on the planet. The next event is Tues., May 10 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT.

If anyone else has any other helpful tools, I would love to hear from you. It seems very important right now to have a collection of different healing tools to assist us with all these shifts towards higher consciousness.

It's time to ride the river of change, and as one Hopi elder said, "You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour... We are the ones we've been waiting for."

The Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar

Wakes up planet, Earth ~ April, 2011

The Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar began on March 9, 2011, and what a ride it has been. In this first Day of the Ninth Wave/ Universal Underworld, we have experienced a major earthquake/tsunami, along with more revolutions in the Middle East including the beginning of the Libya air raid. This all happened in Day One of the Ninth Wave which lasted only 18 earth days from March 9 - March 26, 2011.

Carl Calleman, one of the leading experts on the Mayan Calendar, commented on his website about the Japan earthquake, and saw it as directly related to the beginning of the Ninth Wave. He cited an astonishing parallel with the great Lisbon earthquake in 1755 which was also in the first day of a new underworld - the Planetary Underworld at that time. Both of these quakes, and the tsunamis that followed happened just as a new wave in the Mayan Calendar began. Calleman believes that as a new wave is activated that there are changes in the Earth that also need to happen in order to help create this new shift in consciousness.

The focus of this Ninth wave, the final wave, of the Mayan Calendar is still the same - to move towards a transformation to Unity consciousness which means realizing that we are all one on this planet Earth, and you can see that in the events that have happened around the world at this time. We are all being impacted by this Japan earthquake, and by the Middle East revolutions. It is a chance for all of us on the planet to come together, and to help each other, and to find alternative solutions.

Some people believe that the rising prices of oil along with the nuclear situation and last year's Gulf oil spill have all happened to draw our attention to the need for alternative forms of energy. It seems that we sometimes have to go through painful and challenging lessons to be able to make the necessary changes in our personal lives, and collectively on the planet.

In any case, Night One of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar began on March 27, and will run through April 13, 2011. Being a Night, it is a chance to take a breath, and to integrate all that has happened during this first Day of the Universal Underworld. It could be a time to observe all these changes that we have been through, and to go within, and listen to our intuition for the next step in our own lives, and for the planet.

Day Two of the Ninth Wave begins on April 14, and will run through May 1, 2011. This will be the next stage in the growth cycle of the planting of the seed of Unity Consciousness. This is where "germination" takes place, and we could begin to see some new awareness coming in on the planet. Being another Day, it will be a more active time where we could begin to take the next step in our own lives to move towards a higher consciousness.

The Ninth Wave has begun in a big way, and my hope is that more and more people will be waking up to Unity Consciousness. It's time to catch the wave.

March 9, 2011: Dawn of the Unity Wave ~ March, 2011

The day has arrived that many of us have been waiting for. It is the beginning of the wave of unity consciousness which arrives on March 9, 2011, all around the world. This is the Ninth wave of the Mayan Calendar known as the Universal Underworld. The goal of this last and final underworld/wave is to lead the universe and all human beings to their highest state of consciousness on planet Earth.

What does this all mean? To describe it as simply as possible, it means that we have arrived at a time period in history where we can consciously make a difference in our own lives, and in the world, by making a clear intention to be a part of this world-wide shift in consciousness. These shifts in consciousness are what have driven human history, and all of evolution forward. If you study the Mayan Calendar, you can see the evolution of the planet from the first underworld where the Big Bang happened that created this planet, and through all the time periods of history, as the planet evolved through the different levels of consciousness: from the Cellular to the Mammalian, from the Familial to the Tribal, from the Regional to the National, from the Planetary to the most recent, the Galactic consciousness which began in 1999, and now we move into the Universal Consciousness which is about becoming fully conscious that we are part of a universe, and that what each one of us does on this planet is affecting all of us. This is where co-creating Unity Consciousness comes in.

The idea being that we can all share in this experience globally, and that the more people who become aware of this higher consciousness, the greater the opportunity that we have to really shift to this higher level of awareness on the planet.

March 9, 2011 is only the beginning of this Ninth wave of Unity Consciousness. All nine waves/underworlds of the Mayan Calendar will be ending on October 28, 2011 per the Mayan Calendar experts including Carl Calleman of www.calleman.com For the next 234 days, there will be shifts every 18 days corresponding to the 13 Heavens of the Mayan Calendar which break down into Seven Days, and Six Nights. The Days can be described by the growth cycle of nature from the planting of the seed on March 9th through the full cycle of sowing, germination, sprouting, leafing, budding, flowering, and the fruit. These Days are times of growth, action, and visible developments. The Nights are more inward and times of rest, consolidation and sometimes, there will be times of reaction and destruction.

In the coming months, I will write more about what each one of these Days and Nights of the Universal Underworld means, and what they could look like as we move through them. Day One which begins on March 9 will last through March 26, and is the seeding of this goal for unity consciousness for the planet. Night One will begin on March 27, and will last through April 13, giving us time to integrate all these changes, and allow the seed of unity consciousness to begin its growth cycle. Each one of these 18-day periods of Days and Nights can be divided into two nine-day counts with an ascending and a descending phase. John Graham of www.sacredplay.info has described the ascending energy as yang energy, and the descending as yin where the two energies can have a smooth flowing relationship leading to a dynamic Unity. His view also captures the feeling of many that there needs to be a re-balancing of the masculine and the feminine on the planet to bring us back into alignment with the Earth. In following these Days and Nights of the Mayan Calendar, each one of us can initiate a new practice of conscious co-creation that honors the dark, yin, feminine intelligence of the Night along with the light, yang, and masculine activity of the Day.

In the Mayan Calendar, March 9, 2011 is known as the Sacred Sun sign of the Deer, and its Galactic Tone/energy is One. The Deer indicates a day where we can be of service to others, and the number One is about Unity, the beginning of all things.
