Hypnotherapy is a healing tool with many more uses than losing weight and quitting smoking. The tool is definitely helpful in changing habits, but that is really the tip of the iceberg for all its many uses.

What to expect in a Hypnotherapy Session:

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of altered consciousness (heightened awareness) in which a person is capable of internalizing thoughts and suggestions for the purpose of manifesting desired psychological, physical and spiritual change. Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not sleep, nor is it being unconscious. In hypnosis, you are actually fully aware and in control while still able to access sub-conscious memories, emotions and resources. Most people hear and remember most of what is said during the session, and you will never do or say something that goes against your personal belief system. Hypnosis allows the critical factor of the conscious mind to be bypassed, and the subconscious to be directly accessed. In this state, suggestions and direction can be very effective, and changes can be made at the root of our habits, behaviors and/or limiting beliefs. Once we recognize and let go of our old stories, behaviors and unconscious beliefs about ourselves, we can tap into a new, empowered version of our Self. It really is the best kept secret: The Capacity for Change lies within us all.


Hypnotherapy Sessions with Donna:

In the first session, Donna will go over the basics of Hypnotherapy with you, and work with you to find the most meaningful issue for you to work on during the session. For people new to hypnotherapy, she usually begins with a brief relaxation hypnosis to see how you do with the process. When you feel comfortable and relaxed, then Donna will work on your desired issue. The first session is 90 minutes, but subsequent follow-up sessions are usually 60 minutes.

To prepare for your first session, please wear comfortable clothing, and if you wear contact lenses, you may want to take them out, or wear eyeglasses that day. It's also wise to not drink any caffeinated beverages two hours before your session. Drinking water also seems to help with the process. Journeys through Time ~ Past-Life Regressions

In these times of great change, many people are seeking healing and completion with situations in their lives in order to make a fresh start. One of the tools that can help you with this work is Past-Life regression work. In a Past-Life regression session, you can go back in time to re-experience a lifetime that is connected to your present life situation. In going on this journey through time, you can then find insights to where your current behavior and/or symptoms are coming from, and then choose differently, and bring back these changes to your current lifetime.

Some of the reasons for Past-Life regression work:

  • • To discover the cause of a serious health issue.
  • • To uncover where a strong phobia or fear is coming from.
  • • To bring back creative gifts and special talents.
  • • To make contact with your personal guides.
  • • To clear extreme weight issues.
  • • To release the trauma of a Past-Life that can still be affecting you in your current life.

These are just some of the issues that can be addressed in Past-Life regressions. Through my own Past-Life work, I became more aware about death, not as a final ending, but as a transition in the cycle of life, from one lifetime to the next. It also enabled me to have even more compassion for all people on the planet wherever they may be in their personal journey, because I have been in many of those same situations in other lifetimes.

In my counseling practice, the first Past-Life regression session is 90 minutes long to give you time to become more familiar with the work, and have plenty of time for a deep relaxation leading up to your personal journey through time. The longer session also gives you time to fully come back from your journey, and to talk about your experiences, and be able to connect them with your current lifetime. After you become more comfortable with the process, subsequent sessions may be arranged for only 60 minutes.
